Her Excellency Ambassador (Dr.) Eniola Ajayi and Ambassador Oluremi Olutayo Oliyide - Minister Plenipotentiary, had the honour and privilege of being the special guests of the CEO of Friesland Campina, Mr Hein Schumacher at the commissioning of Friesland Campina’s unique mobile dairy factory meant for use in Nigeria. It is expected to provide drinking Yoghurt under their newly acquired brand NuNu. This initiative is expected to further broaden their partnership with small dairy farmers under the DDP - Dairy Development Programme.

Friesland Campina has been in Nigeria since 1954 and in existence as a company for 150 years. They have mastered their strategy from GRASS TO GLASS and been a success story of a company operating in Nigeria. We salute their courage and contribution in the business environment of the country.

Earlier in the day, the Nigerian Embassy officials had the privilege of visiting the dairy campus of WUR - Wageningen University and Research who collaborate with Friesland Campina as one of its partners in the golden triangle approach of the Netherlands through Research, Factory and Farmers for optimal yield.
