Nigeria Temporary Residence Visa (TRV)
In contrast with the SVVs and PRVs under the Nigeria Visa Policy 2020, the TRV is a category of 6 months to 2 years temporary visas suitable for applicants who wish to enter Nigeria for purpose requiring over 90 days. Students, workers, business people and people involved in medium-term projects lasting more than 90 days may be eligible for Temporary Residence Visa.
36 Temporary Residence Visas
The TRV category under the Visa Mandatory Policy has the widest range of thirty-six (36) visa classes including work permits, diplomatic visas and spouse/dependant visas ranging from 6 to 24 months and renewable in most cases.

R11 - Temporary Work Permit Visa:
Non-renewable permit. Maximum of 180 days stay. Obtainable only through Nigerian Consular Missions.

R1A - Accredited Diplomatic Visa:
Renewable permit on gratis. Two (2) years stay. Obtainable only through Nigerian Consular Missions.
