Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Caracas was opened in 1980 to strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and Venezuela. The two countries have since been warm and cordial, especially in the economic and commercial areas. The mission with concurrent accreditation to Colombia and Ecuador also handles all consular affairs including passport and visa applications
