OFFICIAL DENIAL OF IMMIGRATION WAIVER DEADLINE TO AFRICANS IN CAMBODIA

We wish to inform all Africans, especially the undocumented, living in Cambodia that regarding the widely circulated notice to Africans of several nationalities to leave the country by May 31st 2026; there has been an official clarification/denial of the highly popularised notice. 

"The General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia has the honor to inform the national and international public that the General Department has observed that recently, certain websites *** published information in English stating: 

"Cambodia Orders Africans with Expired Immigration Waivers to Leave by May 31, 2026" 

The General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to clarify that the information published on those websites is completely untrue. 

To obtain official information, the national and international public are requested to visit the official website of the General Department of Immigration at www.immigration.gov.kh or make direct call for further information via the Hotline number: (+855) 78 38 66 99.
