1. Applicants who come to the Mission with incomplete documentation will not be allowed into the Chancery, 
2. Please, get the necessary money orders for your applications before embarking on your trip for passport renewal. The High Commission does not accept cash payments under any circumstance whatsoever. Furthermore, no charges beyond the stipulated amounts for various services as indicated on the website are allowed. 
3. Apply for your passport ahead of the expiration date to avoid creating panic for yourself and unnecessary pressure for the High Commission employees. 
4. All Nigerians in Diaspora may apply for passport renewal a year to the expiry expiry date of their current passport. You are advised to take advantage of this window and avoid a last-minute and with attendant problems.
